Cher Stewart

About Me

My name is Cher Stewart, and I am a 23-year-old web designer and front-end developer of new media. I am also a mother, and my daughter is my whole world. She teaches me everyday what life is all about.

My interests range from camping and hiking, to photography and video games. I am also a wagering enthusiast and a huge sportsfan. I am completely obsessed with the Boston Red Sox, and since I live in the Greater Seattle area, generally annoy the locals with supporting the Bosox when they are in town.

I am pretty irregular geek-wise. My interests don't come down to one area of geekiness, and I started designing web pages because I started a guild in an online role-playing game (an MMORPG for the other nerds out there), known as EverQuest. I designed and put together the website in Notepad, checking out source codes of other sites to figure it all out. I even used Photoshop back then, since I learned how to in middle school (that WAS only seven years ago).

I am completely self-taught, although I did go to school for Media Arts and Web Design later on, I figured there had to be something I missed somewhere along the way! I am still learning, as the web changes, and I love it!
